Arizona has not been as bad as I thought.... well weather wise. I have been told it has been very mild and then the worst is yet to come. All in all I have enjoyed being down here. Joe is really enjoying his internship and I enjoy spending the days with Gabe. He is growing so fast and is fun to be with. He is always keeping a smile on my face and is keeping me laughing. Gabe has been moving around like crazy... rolling, scooting backwards, turning around in circles on his bum and tummy. He has been trying so hard to crawl. He can get to his knees but can not go forward. I think that he will pick it up pretty quick even though I don't know if I will look forward to him getting into everything. Here are a few pictures over the past couple of weeks.

This is right after Gabe's bath and before going to bed. Joe is singing to him. He loves when his daddy sings to him. He gets really quiet and stares and smiles at Joe. He definitely doesn't do that to me when I sing!

After bath time

Swimming

First time going swimming. I wasn't sure how he would react but he loved it just as much as his bath.

Swinging
After only being in AZ fore a a couple days... I left again to go to Minnesota. My sister Jenny and I flew up there to surprise my sister Toby. She was very excited when we showed up at her house. Anyways...we had a girls weekend (without my mom :( She was not able to come) and it was a lot of fun. This is the second time we had ever done this and we are hoping to do it once a year.We spent a few days at the Mall of America where we spent time shopping and riding the roller coasters, we got massages, and then went out to eat a couple of times and just got to spend time catching up and talking with one another. It was good to see both of my sisters.... Love you guys and miss you! Here are some pictures taken at Mall of America.

Joe flew up to Utah to meet us on May 23rd and then we headed down to AZ on the 24th. The drive actually went pretty good and Gabe did well. We stopped a couple times just so he could get out of his car seat. He got tired of being in there for such a long time. I don't blame him. The pictures below are from one of our stops. Joe stopped by some place off the side of the road so Gabe could play in the sand for the firs time. He liked it.
